"Kentucky's Premier Competitive Golf Experience"
In 2018, HBF founder Matt Veltman organized a group of friends and fellow golfers to play a new competitive style of golf that didn't require membership to a singular private course. As an appetite for more events began to quickly grow, larger tournaments with bigger purses were being played at the areas most prestigious golf clubs. Soon, word caught on to golfers outside of the group and the Tour’s popularity has been booming. That leads us to to 2024... we now have 138 Tour members, 950+ members on our Facebook group, a new leadership team, and we're growing exponentially! We are proud to provide the best competitive golf experience in the area!

The Prizes - If You win a competitive tournament, you should be rewarded. Our Amateur payouts are amongst the best in class in the Amateur golf game. Not to mention the Famous HBF Barrel heads for Overall Net & Gross winners from each tournament as well as each flight winner from the Tour Championship. Members & Sponsors alike love these cool barrel heads and are proud to display and brag about their game!

The Competition - We make it fair, and we have our own handicapping system to do so. We utilize your current USGA GHIN, Historical Scores, and your HBF History in a weighted system. This formula is proven to create some of the most competitive flights in the area giving golfers of all skill levels and playing experience a shot to win the glory.

The Formats - We are not just a stroke play tour. Competitive golf can be intimidating, that's why we combine different individual and team events throughout the season. Are you required to play in every event......No. But both your individual and team points may determine placement in the Team Championship as well as the Tour Championship.

The Venues - Everyone likes a cool track, HBF plays some of the most beautiful and prestigious public and private courses around. A majority of them take place in the greater Louisville, KY area. However, we are expanding and 2023 will take us to Eastern, Northern, and Western Kentucky!
